SCARLET-BELLIED MOUNTAIN-TANAGER

This beautiful and aptly-named Scarlet-Bellied Mountain-Tanager was seen on June 23, 2007, our first day in Ecuador. We stayed at the San Jorge Eco-Lodge and found it on our hike through the adjacent nature preserve.
