GALAPAGOS HAWK

6/27/07 Rabida Island. One of the Brown Pelican nests wasn't so lucky. Less than 10 feet away were two other Brown Pelican nests that didn't seem affected by this Galapagos Hawk eating a Brown Pelican chick nearby. The yellow cere on the Hawk was quite striking.
