Red-necked Phalarope at Fernhill Wetlands May 19, 2005. 

It was a treat to get a Western Sandpiper (left) and Semipalmated Sandpiper to pose near eachother. The smaller size, shorter bill and grayer coloration on the Semipalmated is apparent. This was taken at Fernhill Wetlands May 19. 2005
